Respirare l’ebbrezza del tropical mood anche in città? Decisamente possibile! Uno dei più forti trend dell’estate 2016 è sicuramente la stampa tropical. Abbigliamento e accessori si colorano di fenicotteri, tucani, cactus, palme e hibiscus, come quelli sulla camicia a maniche corte di Ralph Lauren presa su Zalando. L’abbinamento perfetto è con i pantaloni cargo, ovvero quel modello di pantaloni morbido con le tasche laterali. Per completare il look sneakers Vans e occhiali da sole tondi a specchio Rayban.

Questo è il look che ho indossato per il secondo giorno della Settimana Moda Uomo di Milano (QUI potete vedere quello del primo, nel caso ve lo siate perso)… Vi do’ appuntamento alla prossima settimana con tanti nuovi outfit!

L'articolo Stampa tropical: Il trend dell’estate 2016 sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Sabato a Milano è iniziata la Settimana della Moda dedicata alle collezioni Uomo per la prossima primavera estate 2017. Per l’occasione ho scelto una bellissima camicia di lino con stampa a nuvole sui toni caldi del marrone, del sabbia e del panna che ho abbinato a un paio di pantaloni, sempre in lino, panna. Il lino infatti è il tessuto che prediligo in questa stagione, un tessuto che trovo sempre elegante. Tanto da non rendere necessario indossare una giacca, sicuramente anche a causa dell’ondata di afa arrivata quel giorno in città. Come scarpe ho optato per un paio di mocassini in pelle naturale con l’iconica medusa di Versace, acquistati da poco su Zalando (mancavano nella mia collezione di scarpe un paio di questa tonalità e finalmente li ho trovati)! Last Saturday in Milan officially started Milan Men’s Fashion Week. For the first day of shows dedicated to next spring summer collections I put up an outfit made by a beautiful linen shirt with printed clouds in the warm shades of brown, sand and cream that I paired with a pair of pants, always in linen, in color cream. Linen is the fabric that I prefer this season, a fabric that I always find elegant and classy. It doesn’t make it necessary to wear a jacket, certainly also because of the wave of sultry weather arrived that day in the city. For shoes I opted for a pair of moccasins made of natural leather with the iconic Versace medusa, purchased recently on Zalando (I needed in my collection of shoes a pair of this shade and finally I found them)! Chi di voi mi segue su Instagram e Snapchat (@robertoderosa) già saprà dei miei frequenti e turbolenti viaggi di lavoro. Che non sempre partono da casa, ovvero Milano, e ritornano alla suddetta. La scorsa settimana ero in Portogallo per un progetto che a breve vi svelerò anche qui sul blog, ma ho preso 24 ore di pausa a Berlino per partecipare all’evento di lancio della nuova campagna #fashionxsport di Zalando.

24 ore. Ho rivisto Berlino, città in cui qualche anno fa ho vissuto per qualche mese. Sono ritornato nel “mio” quartiere, dal mio barbiere di fiducia, ho mangiato di nuovo il Pho Bo da Monsieur Vuong (uno dei miei indirizzi di cucina vietnamita preferiti in città), ho rivisto amici che non vedevo da tempo e, infine, sono andato al party di Zalando. Tra una partita di ping pong con Laura e Federica e l’apparizione della modella volto della campagna, Anna Ewert, ho dato uno sguardo alla collezione dedicata a questa tendenza #fashionxsport. Un mix di vestiti, scarpe e accessori sportivi ma, allo stesso tempo alla moda, perfino eleganti. Un po’ come il mio look: camicia, cravatta, completo giacca e pantaloni e, come scarpe, le stilosissime sneakers Nike Huarache. Tutto preso su Zalando. Che ringrazio ancora per queste bellissime 24 ore a Berlino.

If you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@robertoderosa), you may already know of my frequent and turbulent business trips. Which does not always start from home, aka Milan, and return to there. Last week I was in Portugal for a project that soon will be revelead also here on the blog, but I took a break of 24 hours in Berlin to attend the launch event of the new Zalando campaign, #fashionxsport.

24 hours. I saw Berlin again, the city where a few years ago I’ve lived for a few months. I went back into “my” neighborhood, and to see my barber, I ate again Pho Bo at Monsieur Vuong (one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town), I saw friends who had not seen for a long time and finally I went to Zalando party. Between a tennis table match with Laura and Federica and the appearance of Anna Ewert, the model who is the face of the campaign, I took a look at the collection dedicated to this trend, #fashionxsport. A mix of sporty clothes, shoes and accessories, but at the same time stylish, even elegant. Like my outfit: shirt, tie, suit and, for shoes, some super cool Nike Huarache sneakers. Everything found on Zalando. That I have to thank again for these wonderful 24 hours in Berlin.

L'articolo 24 ore a Berlino sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Impermeabile sopra la giacca elegante? Si può. In alternativa al classico trench, come look anti pioggia per la primavera 2016 va forte la giacca impermeabile. Meglio se lunga al ginocchio, ancora meglio se dotata di cappuccio per riparare la testa senza la necessità di aprire l’ombrello. Io l’ho scelta in un colore fluo, per dare un po’ di luce al tipico grigio milanese delle giornate di pioggia. Il tessuto tecnico di cui è fatta è molto confortevole e traspirante, permettendo quell’agilità nei movimenti che non tutti gli altri impermeabili presenti sul mercato riescono a garantire.

Un impermeabile come questo può essere facilmente indossato sopra la giacca per andare al lavoro, così come nelle giornate off-duty più piovose. Proprio in una giornata così ho scattato le foto che vedete nel post di oggi… Per il mio look anti pioggia indossavo un impermeabile neon arancione di Rains acquistato su Zalando, che ho abbinato su una giacca elegante, un maglione classico girocollo in lana a trecce di Pier One, pantaloni blu anch’essi dal taglio classico e le nuove top sneakers del momento, le Nike Cortez, che io scelto nella variante interamente bianca e con il baffo nero.

Raincoat over a jacket? Yes, you can. As an alternative to the classic trench coat, it is a huge trend for spring 2016 wearing a raincoat jacket. Better if long to the knee, even better if hooded, protecting your head without the need to open the umbrella. I have chosen it in a neon color, to give a little light to the typical gray rainy days in Milan. The waterproof fabric it is made of is very comfortable and breathable, allowing the agility of movement that not all other waterproof jackets on the market can guarantee.

A raincoat as mine can easily be worn over the jacket to go to work, as well when you do not know what to wear in rainy days. During a day like I shot the images you see in today’s post… For my rainy day outfit I was wearing a neon orange raincoat by Rains purchased on Zalando, that I paired on a stylish jacket, a classic braided crew neck sweater by Pier One, blue tailored trousers and the new top sneakers of the moment, Nike Cortez, that I chose in the all-white version with black logo.

L'articolo Impermeabile sopra la giacca: il mio look anti pioggia sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Ancora un look indossato durante la Milano Moda Uomo inverno 2016, in occasione della sfilata di Dirk Bikkembergs che mi ha visto protagonista per il live tweeting dello show (a proposito, mi trovate su tutti i social come @robertoderosa).

Per l’occasione ho scelto un look molto edgy per i miei standard. Protagonista la mia giacca biker in pelle, acquistata diverso tempo fa in un negozio vintage. Ciononostante è ancora morbidissima, tiene al caldo e veste alla perfezione! Sotto ho abbinato un pantalone che si fa notare grazie alla iconica stampa di Versace, che ho trovato su Zalando. Poi stivaletti Versus con dettagli oro che richiamano il pantalone. Per smorzare il tutto, come maglia ho aggiunto un semplicissimo maglione a collo alto di Zara.

La giacca modello biker in vera pelle è un vero evergreen del guardaroba, sia invernale che primaverile, su cui ripiego quando voglio dare carattere a un look. A questo in particolare sono molto affezionato: lo avete visto spesso qui sul blog e continuerete ancora a vederlo per molto!

Another one of the outfit I wore during last Milan Men’s Fashion Week Winter 2016, for Dirk Bikkembergs fashion show where I live twitted the through the entire event (by the way, check out my social accounts @robertoderosa).

On this occasion I chose a very edgy look for my standards. A pair of trousers that stands out thanks to the iconic print by Versace, which I found on Zalando. Versus boots with gold details. To dampen the outfit, I added a simple turtleneck sweater by Zada. The star of the look is my real leather biker jacket, bought some time ago in a vintage shop. Nevertheless, it is still soft, it keeps me warm and fit very nicely on my body!

The biker jacket is a real essential of the wardrobe, both for winter and spring: I always come back to it when I want to spice up a look. The one you see in the pictures, is one I am very fond of: you have often seen me wearing it on the blog and will continue to see it for long time!

L'articolo Giacca biker in pelle sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Ultimo look della Milano Moda Uomo 2016, indossato per assistere alle sfilate di Etro e MSGM. Nei giorni precedenti ho visto talmente tanto giallo che ho pensato di cavalcare questo trend scegliendo qualcosa di azzardato.

Indossavo un completo, blazer e pantalone, di un giallo super acceso di gran tendenza per la prossima primavera estate, che ho smorzato con una t-shirt bianca molto basica. Ho poi aggiunto un ulteriore strato anti-freddo, con un bellissimo e caldissimo cappotto blu scuro molto versatile (che mi avete già visto QUI). Come scarpe ho deciso di celebrare il ritorno delle Nike TN (che in slang significa squalo), selezionate durante la mia esperienza con Footlocker Europe a Londra la settimana scorsa. Last look of Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2016 I wore to attend Etro and MSGM’s fashion show. In earlier days I have seen so much yellow I thought to ride this trend by choosing something bold.

I was wearing a suit, blazer and pants, of a yellow shade that will be a huge trend for next spring and summer. I dampened it with a white t-shirt, very basic. I then added an additional layer with a beautiful and very warm dark blue coat which is also very versatile (I have already worn it HERE). Like shoes I decided to celebrate the return of Nike TN (which in slang means shark), selected during my experience with Footlocker Europe in London last week. L'articolo Il ritorno delle Nike TN: MMFW day 4 sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Un cappotto in tessuto Principe di Galles invecchia? Assolutamente no. Basta saperlo abbinare con i pezzi giusti. Il mio è di Hugo Boss e l’ho preso su Zalando. Per uno stile più rilassato, ho arrotolato casualmente le abbondanti maniche. Sotto ho abbinato un maglione a collo alto nero sopra una camicia con colletto a vista (ho lanciato un nuovo trend… QUI vi spiego come ricrearlo!). Ho sdrammatizzato il tutto con un paio di jeans neri con strappo al ginocchio di Top Man, stretti in vita da una cintura di pelle intrecciata. Ho poi impreziosito il look con le mie nuove Gommino black di Tod’s. Scarpe che adoro per la loro eleganza, ma soprattutto anche per la loro comodità.

Questo outfit l’ho indossato il terzo giorno di Milano Moda Uomo 2016, in occasione della bellissima sfilata di Salvatore Ferragamo e della presentazione di Tod’s a Villa Necchi. Nonostante il sole faceva un gran freddo, per cui avevo bisogno di un capospalla elegante ma super caldo: per questo ho scelto il mio nuovo cappotto in tessuto Principe di Galles.

Does a Prince of Wales checked coat make me look older? Absolutely not. You gotta match with the right pieces. Mine is by Hugo Boss and I found it on Zalando. For a more relaxed style, I rolled randomly my sleeves. I paired it with a black turtleneck sweater over a button-up shirt in the same color, with the tips of the collar peeking from the turtlenecks( I launched a new trend… HERE I explain how to recreate it!). I played down the whole thing with a pair of ripped black jeans by Top Man, cinched at the waist by a belt of woven leather. I then embellished the look with my new black Gommino by Tod’s. I love this shoe because of its elegance, but especially also for its comfort.

This is the outfit I wore on the third day of Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2016, for the beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo’s fashion show and Tod’s presentation at Villa Necchi. Although the sun it was very cold outside, so I needed a outerwear that looked elegant but also super hot, so I’ve chosen my new Prince of Wales checked coat.

L'articolo MMFW Day 3: Un cappotto in tessuto Principe di Galles sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Eccoci al primissimo appuntamento dell’anno con le sfilate della Milano Moda Uomo 2016. Sabato è stata la volta di Costume National al mattino, mentre al pomeriggio di Jil Sander. Per l’occasione ho scelto di indossare un look anni ’70 con protagonista una giacca vintage in pelle con frange. Per richiamare il mood anni ’70, sotto ho abbinato un blazer in lana color mattone, una camicia bianca e jeans blu elettrico di Versace. Come scarpe un paio di stivaletti in pelle nera modello Beatles. Adoro i capi come questa giacca con le frange: sono attualissimi, si vedono in tutte le vetrine, dalle grandi case di moda alle catene low cost, ma si trovano anche nei negozietti vintage. Taglio oversize, vera pelle e interno in seta: un capo super caldo, che ho portato sbottonato, complice anche la bellissima giornata di sole, e con le maniche leggermente risvoltate. Per renderlo ancora più country, potete indossarlo con un paio di blue jeans e una camicia, sempre in denim, oppure un maglione di lana in toni naturali.

Here we are at the very first event of the year with the fashion shows of Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2016. Saturday was the day of Costume National show in the morning, while the afternoon of Jil Sander‘s one. For the occasion I chose to wear a ’70s-inspired look featuring a vintage fringe leather jacket. To recall ’70s mood, I paired it with a red brick wool blazer, a white shirt and electric blue pants by Versace. For the shoes I wore black leather boots model Beatles. I love clothes like this fringe jacket: they are very trendy, can be found everywhere from high streets boutiques to low-cost stores, but also in vintage shops. The oversized cut, the thick leather with silk interior: it’s a super hot jacket I wore unbuttoned, also because of the beautiful sunny day, and with slightly turned-up sleeves. To make it even more country-style, you can wear it with a pair of blue jeans and a shirt, in denim as well, or with a wool sweater in natural tones.
