Dopo aver indossato due look decisamente casual per le mie prime giornate di fashion week newyorkese, uno total black e uno double denim (che potete vedere cliccando qui: New York Fashion Week Day 1 e Day 2), per il terzo giorno ho virato decisamente sul bon ton, su quell’eleganza sartoriale tipicamente italiana che mi fa sentire a mio agio in ogni occasione. La terza giornata di fashion week, infatti, è stata una giornata ancora più intensa delle altre: Laura ed io avevamo l’agenda fitta di appuntamenti e di sfilate, BCBG e Tibi tra le altre.

Ho scelto uno splendido completo smoking blu navy di Bencivenga Couture, con le revers della giacca nere a contrasto, che mi veste perfettamente. Sotto, la classica camicia bianca mentre, ai piedi, ho deciso di smorzare l’eleganza del look con le mie nuovissime Nike Zoom. Come accessorio ho indossato occhiali da sole con montatura tartarugata e lenti fumè azzurre, che riprendono perfettamente i colori del foulard vintage che ho deciso di legare intorno al collo, e che nel corso della giornata si è rivelato persino utile per proteggermi dal vento che si era alzato sulla città.

Infine, il pezzo forte del mio look: uno zaino di pelle morbidissima MCM , blue , ma con il dettaglio della tasca metallizzata sul davanti, che mi ha fatto impazzire dal primo momento in cui l’ho visto!

After having put together two casual looks for my first days of New York Fashion Week, a total black one and a double denim (which you can see by clicking here: New York Fashion Week Day 1 and Day 2), for the third day I opted for a more elegant outfit, that makes me feel confident on every occasion. The third day of fashion week, in fact, was a day even more intense than the others: Laura and I had our agenda full of events and fashion shows, BCBG and Tibi among others.

I chose a midnight blue tuxedo by Bencivenga Couture, with black lapels, that fits me beautifully. Below, I wore the classic white shirt while, for shoes, I decided to soften the look with my brand new Nike Zoom. As for accessories I wore a pair of sunglasses sunglasses with tortoiseshell frames and blue lenses, that matched perfectly the colors of the vintage scarf that I decided to tie around my neck, which after that day turned out to be useful to protect me from the wind that started blowing.

Finally, a new staple of my wardrobe: the softest beautiful backpack I’ever purchased! It’s from MCM(which i Love it ), and it has the detail of the metallic pocket on the front that I absolutely loved from the first second I’ve seen it!

L'articolo New York Fashion Week Day 3 sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Quando viaggio un accessorio irrinunciabile per me è lo zaino. Questo che vedete nelle foto è quello che ho scelto per un breve soggiorno a Napoli. Era l’inizio di giugno, non tornavo nella mia città da ormai troppo tempo e, complice alcuni appuntamenti, mi sono ritagliato qualche giorno di pausa per stare un po’ con la mia famiglia.

Quel giorno sono uscito indossando un outfit molto semplice, così come sono solito vestire nella mia vita off-duty. Ho abbinato i miei jeans preferiti, i Levi’s 501 bianchi, ad una leggerissima camicia azzurra, dall’effetto denim. Ai piedi il mio nuovo paio di Nike Air Jordan bianche, di cui sono super innamorato. Unico ed esagerato tocco di colore nel look l’ho dato con il mio nuovo zaino fluo Natwee. Di un giallo solare come la mia Napoli. Lo zaino è il mio accessorio preferito perchè mi permette di avere sempre le mani libere portando con me tutto il necessario per quando sono fuori casa. Questo in particolare ha una struttura resistente ma allo stesso tempo è morbido e comodo, grazie al tessuto e alla fibbia in caucciù, di cui adoro il colore a contrasto.

My must-have accessory for traveling is the backpack. The one that you see in the pictures below is the backpack I chose to wear during my short stay in Naples. It was early June, I hadn’t been back home for too long and, thanks to some meetings, I took a break from Milano to go and see my family.

That day I went out wearing a very simple outfit, as I usually do in my everyday life. I paired my favorite jeans, the white Levi’s 501, with a light blue shirt, kind of a denim colour. Then my new pair of white Nike Air Jordan, which I’m super in love of. To add an extravagant pop of colour I wore my new fluo backpack by Natwee. The backpack is my favorite accessory because it allows me to carry everything I need and walking hand-free at the same time. This one has a good structure, it’s resistant but at the same time soft and comfortable, thanks to the fabric and to the rubber buckle.
