Io ho avuto l’opportunità di scoprire il nuovo profumo Y di YSL per la prima volta lo scorso settembre. Durante una experience davvero speciale che mi ha portato a Brooklyn, cuore pulsante del talento e dell’estro newyorkese. Un quartiere che da zona prettamente industriale è diventato con il passare dei decenni un melting pot di culture di diverse, negozi vintage, gallerie d’arte, teatri e tipiche case dai mattoncini rossi.

Un viaggio ispirazionale, di forte stimolo per realizzare le immagini della campagna che vedete qui sotto. Cosa ne pensate?

The new Eau de Toilette Y by Yves Saint Laurent is inspired by his signature look. Head notes, consisting in bergamot, ginger, white aldehydes and geranium absolute, symbolize the freshness of a white t-shirt. In clear contrast, base notes express the elegance of a perfectly fitted black jacket: balsam fir, marine ambergris and incense. A creative and bold combination, unique in its kind. A combination that challenges each of us to identify our own dreams while at the same time urging us to fight with all our strength to achieve them. Because it all starts with a question, why?

It’s the question that makes everything possible.

I had the opportunity to discover the new Y fragrance by YSL for the first time last September. During a really special experience that took me to Brooklyn, the pulsating heart of New York. A neighborhood that starting from a purely industrial area has become in a few decades a melting pot of cultures, of different vintage shops, art galleries, theaters and typical red brick houses.

An inspirational journey, that gave me a strong incentive to realize the images of the campaign you see below. What do you think about it?
