Serralves Museum Experience was one of the best activtiy I attended during Porugal Fashion Week in Porto.

The third day of Portugal Fashion was a busy one: we started the day by visiting the studio of the acclaimed Luis Buchinho, followed by a stop at the BLOOM shop, Portugal Fashion’s shop for their young designers and then headed to the country’s most iconic and visited museum: Serralves. There we saw the fabulous mirror works from the Iranian-born Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, and had a tour of the Contemporary Art Museum, the modernist gardens and the stunning Art Deco Villa. In the end, the Museum kindly offered us a bow tie by a Portuguese designer.

On this day, I wore a jumper by local designer “Estelita Mendonça”

Portugal Fashion Day 2 brings us to the beautiful city of Porto. The location during the second day was simply amazing organized by THE BLOOM.

The first fashion show I really enjoyed was Carla Pontes with her geometric style. Oriental Inspiration and minimal style from the talented Daniela Barros and then the surprising show of Estelita Mendonca where ended up with a crazy light show. Mafalda Fonseca was all about graphics and great color combinations. Hugo Costa will be always one of my favorite during Portugal Fashion, and his collection was simply great: lovely shapes, amazing colors, great lines.
