Un classico dell’armadio del gentlemen, nel 2016 il cappotto cammello va ancora alla stra grande. Se non ne possedete ancora uno, ponderate un acquisto. Tanto più ora che siamo in periodo di saldi. Vi ritroverete con un capo passepartout con cui potrete giocare davvero tantissimo. Nella scelta del modello, vi consiglio di optare per tagli classici, monopetto o doppiopetto, dal volume morbido e non esageratamente slim. Così potrete indossarlo veramente su tutto quello che avete nell’armadio. Per quanto riguarda gli abbinamenti, il cappotto cammello si presta infatti ad essere indossato sia su look eleganti, completi o spezzati, sia nella vita di tutti i giorni con jeans, camicia e maglioncino con scollo a V oppure a collo alto.

Per il mio secondo giorno al Pitti ho abbinato il mio nuovo cappotto cammello di Paolo Pecora sopra un completo spezzato. Composto da un dolcevita nero indossato sopra una camicia bianca con il colletto rialzato (la mia nuova ossessione: scoprite tutto nel post di ieri… Se ve lo siete perso, vi basta cliccare QUI!). Poi giacca in tweed, pantalone nero e sneakers Adidas in pelle metalizzata color oro con la punta bianca, che trovo perfetta per richiamare il colore cammello del cappotto.

Alcune delle foto sono state scattate nei pressi dell’altalena del MINI Gentleman’s Playground (un parco giochi dal design elegante e raffinato realizzato dalla nota casa automobilistica all’interno della fiera) dove ho trascorso qualche attimo di relax al termine della giornata. Ieri il Pitti era veramente affollato e gli appuntamenti che non volevo perdermi erano moltissimi!

A classic of the gentlemen’s wardrobe, in 2016 the camel coat is still a huge trend in fashion. If you do not own one yet, consider the idea of buying one now. At the sales. You will end up with an evergreen piece you can really play a lot with. When choosing the model, I suggest you to opt for a classic cut, single or double-breasted, in soft volumes and not overly slim. So that it can really be worn with pretty much all you have in your closet. As for pairings, the camel coat lends itself to be worn both with elegant looks, blazer with jackets, and in everyday’s life with jeans, a shirt and a V-neck or a turtleneck sweater.

For my Pitti day 2 I matched my new camel coat by Paolo Pecora on a blazer and slacks. Consisting of a black turtleneck worn over a white shirt with the collar turned up (my new obsession: find out everything in my yesterday’s post… If you missed it, you just click HERE!). Then a tweed jacket, black pants and Adidas sneakers in metallic gold leather with white tip, which I find perfect to bring up the color of the camel coat.

Some of the photos were taken near the swing inside  MINI Gentleman’s Playground (an elegant and refined playground outside MINI stands) where I spent a few relaxing moments at the end of the day. Yesterday Pitti was really crowded and I had a lot to do!
