New entry nella mia collezione di orologi: un modello di Henry London dallo stile vintage contemporaneo. Il marchio, che come potrete intuire è britannico, ha una storia particolare: prende il suo nome da un esemplare che i due designer hanno scovato al mercato di Portobello Road, con inciso sul retro della cassa “Henry, August 1965”. Ispirati da questo orologio e dal suo design elegante hanno così ideato la collezione Henry London. I cinturini sono in morbida pelle, come quello che ho scelto io, o in acciaio maglia Milano di alta qualità, con una vasta selezione di colori per entrambi i materiali. Quello che è il loro tratto maggiormente distintivo, ovvero l’elemento che più mi ha colpito a prima vista, è la cassa: tradizionale, in acciaio inossidabile lavorato a mano, in una ampia scelta di nuance ispirate ai colori delle diverse linee della Tube. Inoltre altro dettaglio che ho apprezzato è il servizio di personalizzazione, offerto sia nella vendita online che presso il proprio rivenditore di fiducia: il retro della cassa può infatti ospitare incisioni di iniziali o parole.

Tutti gli orologi Henry London sono inoltre resistenti agli schizzi e unisex, con misure che partono dai 25mm per arrivare ai chrono 41mm.

Anche l’outfit che mi vedete indossare nelle foto è volutamente british, stile che da sempre mi piace e che trovo mio. L’impermeabile è nella mia tonalità di blu preferita: è super leggero ma protegge benissimo dalla pioggia. Il maglione girocollo è anch’esso blu, così come il jeans regular che porto al di sotto. Si tratta di un total look che ho acquistato su Salle Privée, e-commerce olandese che vanta una bellissima selezione di prodotti di lusso. Infine, come scarpe ho su le mie sneakers preferite del momento: un paio di Vans in suede.

New entry in my watches collection: a contemporary vintage style model by Henry London. The brand, which as you might guess is British, has a particular history behind it: it takes its name from a watch that the two designers have discovered wandering around Portobello Road Market, which was engraved on the case back saying “Henry, August 1965″. Inspired by this watch and its elegant design they have thus created the Henry London collection. The straps are made of soft leather, like the one I chose, or high quality stainless steel Milanese mesh, with a wide selection of colors for both materials. What is their most distinctive trait, or the element that struck me at first sight, it is the case: traditional, hand-crafted stainless steel, in a choice of shades inspired by the colors of the different lines of the Tube. Also another detail that I appreciate is the customization service, offered in both the online sale both at the dealers: the case back in fact accommodate incision of initials or words.

All Henry London watches are also sketches resistent and unisex, with sizes starting from 25mm to the 41mm chrono.

Even the outfit you see me wearing in the pictures is deliberately british: a style that I like and that I wear a lot. The raincoat is in my favorite shade of blue: it’s super light but protects well from the rain. The round neck sweater is also blue, as well as the regular jeans I paired below. It is a total look that I purchased on Salle Privée, Dutch e-commerce which has a beautiful selection of luxury products. Finally, for the shoes I put on my favorite sneakers of the moment: a pair of Vans in suede.

Il sole splende su Milano, le giornate sono sempre più roventi ma io non ho alcuna intenzione di soffrire ancora a lungo. Le mie vacanze estive stanno per iniziare, e con esse la trafila non stop di porti, aeroporti e stazioni. Sempre con me, il nuovo zaino di Tommy Hilfiger. Capiente e resistente quanto leggero, poiché realizzato in tela misto cotone cerato. Uno zaino in linea con la mia indole a viaggiare, ad andare alla scoperta di culture diverse e lontane. Uno zaino che mi seguirà ovunque, in città e in spiaggia come sotto la pioggia (che spero proprio di non trovare lungo il mio cammino). Nelle foto me lo vedete indossare in uno dei miei outfit preferiti per l’estate: camicia leggera a quadretti Vichy, denim con strappo al ginocchio e mocassini scamosciati ultra morbidi. Uno zaino estivo 2016 assolutamente perfetto per tutti i viaggi che mi attendono nel mese di agosto! Sun is shining on Milan, the days are getting hotter and hotter but I am not going to suffer any longer. My summer holidays are about to begin, and with them a non-stop of ports, airports and trains. Always with me, the new Tommy Hilfiger backpack. Capacious and durable as well as light, because it is realized in a blend of canvas and waxed cotton. A backpack in accordance with my inner desire to travel, to discover different and far away cultures. A backpack that will follow me everywhere, in town and on the beach as well as in the rain (which I hope not to find along my path). In the photos you see me wear it in one of my favorite outfits for the summer: light shirt, denim with ripped knee and ultra soft suede moccasins. L'articolo Il mio zaino estivo 2016 di Tommy Hilfiger sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

La scorsa settimana sono stato invitato insieme ad altri bloggers e youtubers italiani per scoprire il mondo di Transitions, azienda leader mondiale nella produzione di lenti dinamiche a tinta variabile, e per provare, in anteprima per l’Italia, i nuovi colori della Style Colors Collections.

Una giornata interamente dedicata farci provare nelle situazioni più diverse le lenti dinamiche Transitions. Chiare in partenza, si sono scurite gradualmente in presenza dei raggi ultravioletti non appena siamo saliti a bordo della Maggiolino Cabriolet che ci ha portato in giro per Milano, alla scoperta del quartiere Porta Nuova fino agli enormi grattacieli di Piazza Gae Aulenti. Al ritorno ci siamo rilassati con un aperitivo alla Terrazza 12, il bar al decimo piano del Brian&Barry Building, dove le lenti sono tornate al loro stato originale, chiaro. Devo dire che per tutto il corso della giornata i miei occhiali si sono adattati benissimo ai continui cambiamenti di luce nel passaggio da un ambiente interno a uno esterno, dimostrandosi ottimi e validi occhiali!

Last week I was invited along with other Italian bloggers and YouTubers to discover the world of Transitions, a world leader in the production of adaptive lenses, and to try, in preview for Italy, the new colors of their Style Colors Collections.

An entire day to make us try Transitions adaptive lenses in different situations. Clear at the start, they gradually appear darker in the presence of UV light, as soon as we got into the Beetle Cabriolet which took us around Milan, to discovery Porta Nuova neighborhood and the huge skyscrapers of Gae Aulenti’s Square. On the way back we relaxed with a drink at the Terrazza 12, the bar on the tenth floor of the Brian&Barry Building, where the lenses went back to their original clear color. Scusate l’assenza degli ultimi giorni, ma, come saprete se mi seguite sui miei social, ho avuto molte difficoltà logistiche nel trasloco. Vi scrivo in diretta da Venezia, dove sto finendo di preparare la valigia: prossima destinazione Croazia e Montenegro a bordo della MSC Blogger Cruise. Non vedo l’ora!

Il look che vi mostro oggi ha come protagonista il primo cappotto indossato in questa stagione. La scorsa settimana a Milano le temperature erano calate di botto, io dovevo assolutamente uscire perché volevo andare ad alcuni press day, quindi sono corso ai ripari scegliendo un cappotto classico da uomo in una versione di gran tendenza per l’autunno inverno 2015 2016: oversize, a cui ho arrotolato le maniche, di un colore grigio molto neutro e facilmente abbinabile con tanti pezzi del mio guardaroba. Assolutamente perfetto! Sotto, una semplice t-shirt bianca di Levi’s con logo (che mi avete già visto indossare in un altro outfit QUI) e un paio di skinny jeans con strappo al ginocchio che non riesco a smettere di indossare. Come scarpe, un paio di nuovissimi stivaletti eleganti di Timberland in pelle e camoscio, totalmente impermeabili e quindi adattissimi anche quando le temperature caleranno a picco, e pioggia e neve faranno capolino!

Sorry for being M.I.A. in the last few days, but, as you may know if you follow me on my social media, I had many logistical difficulties with the moving. I’m writing to you from Venice, where I’m working on the suitcase for my next destination: Croatia and Montenegro aboard the MSC Blogger Cruise. I can’t wait!

The look that I show today stars the first coat of the season. Last week in Milan had suddenly fallen, I absolutely had to get out because I wanted to go to some press days, so I put a classic men coat on, in a version of big trend for fall winter 2015 2016: oversized, with rolled up sleeves, in a very neutral gray color that can be easily matched with many other pieces of my wardrobe. Absolutely perfect! Under the coat I wore a simple white t-shirt with Levi’s logo (which you’ve already seen me wearing in another outfit HERE) and a pair of knee cut skinny jeans I’m obsessed with. For shoes, a pair of brand new stylish Timberland boots in leather and suede, totally waterproof and very suitable even when temperatures drop, and rain and snow pop out!

Se mi seguite sui social, saprete che questa estate, più del solito, sono irrimediabilmente affetto dalla sindrome del wanderlust. Ed è anche il nome del progetto europeo ideato da Tommy Hilfiger a cui ho preso parte, grazie al quale oggi vi mostro uno tra i miei look estivi preferiti proprio per viaggiare.

Un outfit giocato sui toni neutri del sabbia e del bianco, che trovo perfetti in questa stagione per evidenziare quel velo di abbronzatura che ho sulla pelle. Ho scelto una camicia di lino a cui ho arrotolato le maniche per dare un effetto ancora più rilassato, un paio di semplici pantaloni modello chino e delle scarpe da barca in pelle con suola a contrasto. A spalle la mia nuova sacca di tela impreziosita da dettagli in pelle, da riempire con tutto il necessario per un week-end fuori porta. Il modello che ho scelto è infatti adatto come bagaglio a mano e offre una tasca sul davanti utile per riporre i documenti di viaggio e averli sempre a portata di mano.

If you follow me on social, you may know that this summer, more than usual, I’m suffering from wanderlust syndrome. A strong impulse to travel, to see the world and discover new places, cultures and people. I don’t want to sit still. My mantra is “Let’s Go“. And this is also the name of the European project created by Tommy Hilfiger, thanks to I can show you one of my favorite summer looks that I find absolutely perfect for traveling.

An outfit based on neutral tones such as sand and white, consisting in a linen shirt which I rolled up their sleeves of, to give an even more relaxed fit, then a pair of simple chino pants and some boat shoes made by leather with contrasting soles. On my shoulders I wore my new canvas bag embellished with leather details, to be filled with everything I need for a weekend off. The model I chose is suitable as a hand luggage and offers a front pocket for all those essential travel documents that I want to have handy.

The photos were taken inside the Tommy Garden in Piazza Oberdan, Milan, where every Tuesday and Thursday evening at happy hour you can relax with nice music and cocktails in typical American style (if you like to read more about these events, you can read my post Tommy Hilfiger Garden opens in Milan).

Per il quarto giorno di Fashion Week milanese ho scelto di puntare l’attenzione su un paio di pantaloni a righe verticali irregolari dai colori super vivaci. Come vi accennavo nel post relativo al look indossato per il secondo giorno (potete leggerlo cliccando qui: MFW Day 2), la stampa a righe sarà ovunque nella prossima stagione e io ho scelto di personalizzare questo trend scegliendolo per un capo meno convenzionale, ovvero i pantaloni. Blu elettrico, verde brillante, rosso e bianco: un mix d’effetto. Per smorzarne l’intensità, ho indossato una camicia bianca, ampissima e con un taschino applicato. Uso spesso la classica camicia bianca per completare i miei look, e quando trovo un modello un po’ diverso dalla classica camicia button down, come quello che mi vedete indossare nelle foto, non posso fare a meno di acquistarla. Ai piedi le mie nuove Adidas Stan Smith, che ho scelto con la linguetta blu.

For the fourth day of Milan Fashion Week I decided to focus the attention on a pair of irregular vertical striped trousers in super bright colours. As I mentioned in the post about the look of my second day (you can read it by clicking here: MFW Day 2), next season the stripes trend will be everywhere and I find they stand out a lot more in a pair of pant. Electric blue, bright green, red and white: I love this mix. To dampen the intensity of the look, I wore a white shirt, a very wide one with a pocket. I often add the classic white shirt to my looks, and when I find a model a bit different from the classic button down shirt, like what you see me wearing in the photos, I can’t help buying it. As for footwear I chose my new Stan Smith Adidas sneakers with blue tab.

L'articolo MFW Day 4 sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Oggi vi presento il secondo total look Siviglia che ho scelto per la mia collaborazione con questo brand, che adoro e per il quale ho nuovamente scattato delle immagini che andranno nel loro Journal (se non avete ancora visto i precedenti scatti, vi rimando al post Neutral Shades).

Siviglia è un giovane brand italiano particolarmente attento alla qualità e alla cura dei dettagli dei capi da loro prodotti. Per questo sono più che felice di condividere con voi questi scatti. Il look che ho scelto è tipicamente primaverile, ma trovo che, eliminando il pezzo forte, ovvero la giacca, si adatti anche alle giornate estive più afose come quelle degli ultimi giorni. Indosso una t-shirt bianca con una stampa geometrica rossa e grigia, abbinata a un pantalone blu dal classico taglio sartoriale, di una vestibilità, devo dire, perfetta. Sopra una bomber jacket blu navy, resa sportiva dalle doppia riga bianca sul collo e dai bottoni del medesimo colore. Ai miei piedi ho completato questo look casual chic con un paio di sneakers bianche alte.

Today I’m proud to show you the second total look by Siviglia I chose for my project. I love this brand and I couldn’t be happier when they asked me to shoot some pictures for their Journal (if you haven’t seen the previous shots, check out my old post Neutral Shades).

Siviglia is a young Italian brand committed to quality and attention for details of all their products. The look I chose is perfect for springtime, but, if you remove the jacket, it’s also suitable for the hottest summer days. I’m wearing a white t-shirt with a geometric red and gray print, over a blue trousers that has a perfect fit, I have to say. Then I threw on a navy blue bomber jacket, with a double white line on the neck and the buttons in the same color. At my feet I completed this casual chic look with a pair of white high-top sneakers.

Parola d’ordine del mio terzo giorno di Fashion Week milanese: mix & match. Scegliere capi di stili, materiali o colori differenti e fonderli insieme per creare un look unico dagli effetti sorprendenti. Così ho fatto io per il mio look: ho abbinato una camicia dalla stampa floreale con un pantalone dal taglio sartoriale a quadretti, di Bencivenga Couture. Entrambi i capi hanno una base di colore blu, come la scarpa che ho scelto di indossare: il paio di mocassini più morbidi che possiedo, con un motivo di pelle intrecciata di Alberto Guardiani.

Nelle foto con me la mia amica Laura, insieme alla quale mi sono recato alla sfilata di Gucci, tra le mie preferite di tutta la settimana della moda.

Watchword of my third day of Milan Fashion Week: mix & match. Choose pieces of garment that are different in styles, materials, colors or patterns and blend them together to create a unique look with surprising effects. So here’s what I did for my MFW day 3 outfit: I paired a floral print shirt with a checkered pants, by Bencivenga Couture. Both leaders have a base of blue, like the shoes I chose to wear: the softest loafers I have in my closet, with a pattern of woven leather by Alberto Guardiani.

Oggi vi mostro il look indossato durante la seconda giornata dedicata alla moda uomo della passata Fashion Week milanese. Le foto mi sono state scattate dopo che ho avuto il piacere di essere spettatore della sfilata di Missoni, che ho adorato per le silhouette rilassate, i tagli morbidi, la classica maglieria leggerissima e le tonalità potenti di colore. Per il mio outfit, ho scelto di interpretare quello che sarà uno dei trend più ricorrenti della prossima stagione: le righe. Il mio pantalone non passa di certo inosservato, anche per via dell’accostamento dei colori brillanti, bianco e verde smeraldo. Ho abbinato poi una camicia di lino vintage, molto ampia e di un colore che ricorda il blue jeans. Ai miei piedi un paio di sneakers basic bianche in edizione limitata di Church’s.

Today I wanna show you the look I wore during the second day of last Milan Fashion Week. The pics were taken after I had the pleasure of being a spectator of the Missoni fashion show, which I really love. Relaxed silhouettes, classic knitwear and beautiful shades of colour. For MFW day 2 I decided to focus the attention on one of the biggest trends for the upcoming season: stripes. I loved this pants because of the bright colors, white and emerald green. I paired them with a vintage blue shirt and a pair of basic white sneakers in limited edition by Church’s.
