Il secondo giorno della Milano Moda Uomo è iniziato per me con sfilata di Diesel Black Gold dedicata alla collezione autunno-inverno 2018/19. Il designer Andreas Melbostad ha raccolto influenze di stile e culturali di diversi Paesi del mondo, mixandole e reinterpretandole in maniera creativa nei capi iconici del brand, ovvero i jeans, i maglioni in lana, il chiodo di pelle e l’outerwear in generale. Per evidenziare ancor più le influenze etniche la maggior parte dei modelli e delle modelle (la moda uomo ha sfilato congiuntamente con la donna) è stata truccata con motivi tribali sul volto. La sfilata si è tenuta come di consueto al Megawatt, una location immensa all’interno di un complesso industriale anni ’70 perfettamente conservato, in un quartiere nella zona Sud di Milano vicino a Pestalozzi che mi affascina moltissimo.

The second day of Milano Moda Uomo began for me with the Diesel Black Gold show dedicated to the fall-winter 2018/19 collection. The designer Andreas Melbostad collected style and cultural influences from different countries of the world, mixing and reinterpreting them in a creative way in the iconic garments of the brand, such as denim, wool sweaters, leather jacket and outerwear. To highlight even more the ethnic influences, the make-up artists realized on many models tribal motifs on their face. The fashion show was held as usual at Megawatt, an immense location in a perfectly preserved 70s industrial complex, in a neighborhood in the South of Milan near Pestalozzi that fascinates me a lot.

Nel corso della giornata anche molti altri dei miei brand preferiti, Jimmy Choo, Churchs, Tommy Hilfiger e Etro, hanno presentato in occasione della Milano Moda Uomo le loro collezioni ed è stato un vero piacere poterle visionare in anteprima.

During the day also many of my favorite brands, Jimmy Choo, Churchs, Tommy Hilfiger and Etro, presented their collections at Milano Moda Uomo and it was a real pleasure to be able to see them in preview.

Veniamo ora al look che ho indossato: per l’occasione ho scelto due giacche Diesel Black Gold, una biker jacket in morbidissima pelle che ho sovrapposto ad un’altra in denim modello maxi felpa. Ho completato il look con pantaloni di pelle, stivaletti e Ray-Ban.

Now let’s talk about the look that I wore: for the occasion I chose two jackets by Diesel Black Gold, a biker jacket in soft leather that I wore over on another jacket, in denim that looks like a maxi sweatshirt. I accessorized my outfit with leather pants, ankle boots and Ray-Ban sunnies.

Oggi voglio parlarvi di una delle sfilate che ho particolarmente apprezzato nel corso dell’ultima Settimana della Moda Uomo di Milano (di cui potete vedere gli outfit indossati QUI, QUI e ancora QUI). Canali. Una lunga storia sartoriale di eccellenza che da oltre ottant’anni promuove la tradizione artigianale del Made in Italy, mescolando storia ed innovazione con classe ed eleganza, per creare ogni volta veri e propri capolavori.

La collezione Primavera Estate 2017 ha come segni distintivi materie prime preziose e dettagli ricercati. Fresche mischie di lino e seta si intervallano a pellami preziosi e al morbido suede, oltre che al tessuto principe di stagione, un malfilè dall’intreccio volutamente marcato di trama e ordito. Le forme sono destrutturate, come quelle della giacca Kei, icona del marchio (dalla linea avvolgente e senza fodera), che viene abbinata per la prima volta anche ai pantaloni, per completi sartoriali ultra moderni. Il taglio dei pantaloni si apre leggermente ad anfora. L’outerwear si compone di spolverini lunghi e svolazzanti, oltre che da bomber e field jacket in pelle. Quanto ai dettagli: taschini inaspettati, per forma e dimensione, danno carattere alle giacche più formali, foulard strangolini si sostituiscono alle cravatte e le borse si portano a mano oppure ancorate alle cinture in vita.

La palette dei colori è delineata dai toni polverosi del blu avio e dalle calde sfumature del marrone terra di Siena, a richiamare il cielo e la terra, che si mescolano creando un orizzonte senza confini. A fianco di queste due tonalità si aggiungono i toni neutri del sabbia e del grigio, oltre al classico blu scuro.

Today I want to tell you about one of the fashion shows that I loved the most during the last Milan Men’s Fashion Week (of which you can see the outfits I worn HERE, HERE and HERE again). Canali. A long history of excellence tailoring that from over eighty years promotes the traditional craftsmanship of Made in Italy, blending history and innovation with class and elegance, to create each time unique masterpieces.

The Spring Summer 2017 collection is all about precious raw materials and refined details. Fresh blends of linen and silk, fine leathers, soft suede and the fabric Prince of the season, a deliberately marked malfilé interweaving of warp and weft, are the highlights. The forms are unstructured, such as those of the Kei jacket, their icon (wraparound and without lining), which is paired for the first time also with pants, for ultra modern tailored suits. The cut of the trousers opens slightly amphora style. The outerwear is made of long and fluttering feather dusters, as well as by bomber and field jackets. As for the details: unexpected pockets give character to the most formal jackets, little scarves replace the ties and the bags are carried by hand or anchored to the waist belts.

The color palette goes from the dusty tones of aviation blue to the warm shades of burnt Sienna, recalling the sky and the earth and creating a horizon without boundaries. Alongside these two shades there are also the neutral tones of sand and gray, in addition to a classic dark blue.
