Da quando vivo a Milano la mia vita è cambiata e continua a cambiare giorno dopo giorno. Non solo per il fatto di essere andato a vivere da solo, perché comunque ho già fatto altre esperienze, anche all’estero… Come gli anni di università a Varsavia (se avete voglia di saperne di più vi mando alla lettura di questo post) o la mia esperienza ad Hong Kong lo scorso anno. Sono in continua evoluzione, così come la città in cui ho scelto di vivere. Una città sicuramente difficile, dai ritmi incalzanti e frenetici, ma che, rovescio della medaglia, offre possibilità entusiasmanti. Ci sono un sacco di novità e progetti di lavoro che ogni giorno si presentano alla mia porta. Tutto scorre e a Milano ancora più velocemente. In questo momento della mia vita credo di avere fatto la scelta giusta. Io sono così, quando prendo una decisione, è perché  ne sono convinto, e quella è. Fino a che va bene per me e fino a che non sento che è ora di cambiare rotta. Ora come ora stare a Milano mi piace. Anche se vado veloce, ho meno tempo per tornare dai miei affetti a Napoli, in generale ho meno tempo per tutto, persino per organizzare un semplice sushi con un amico o un drink con un collega.

A Milano vado di fretta, e questa frenesia si ripercuote anche sulla scelta del look del giorno. La scorsa settimana andavo a un evento del Fuori Salone (se volete leggere altro sull’argomento, vi rimando a quest’altro post), e avevo proprio voglia di indossare i miei mocassini di vernice. Un classico e, a mio avviso, un must have nella scarpiera di ogni uomo. Ma non ero in totale mood classico, così ho optato per un pantalone leggero e morbido,  che può piacere come no. Sopra poi ho infilato un parka anti-pioggia, perché le previsioni non erano ottimistiche. Che ne pensate? Fatemelo sapere con un commento sotto questo post!

Since I started to live in Milan, my life has significantly changed and it’s being changing every day. Not because I decided to leave my parents’ house, I actually have done other experiences, even abroad … Like the Erasmus in Warsaw (if you want to know more you might read this post) or my experience in Hong Kong last year. I’m constantly evolving, as the city where I’ve chosen to live does. Living in Milan is hard, its hectic pace can be really overwhelming, but on the other hand it offers lots of exciting possibilities. Big work projects may ring every day at my door bell. Everything flows, in Milan it grows even faster. At this time of my life I think I’ve made the right decision, at least ’til I feel it’s time to change path. Right now I like to live in Milan. Even if I have less time to go back to my loved ones in Naples. I have less time in general, for everything, even for planning a sushi dinner with a friend of mine.

This frenzy life I live also affects the choice of what I’m wearing. Last week I went to an event during the Milan Design Week (if you want to read more about it, take a look on this post) and I wanted to wear my patent leather moccasins. I absolutely love them. In my opinion, they’re a must have in every man’s shoe rack. But I wasn’t in the mood for a classic look, so I opted for a light and soft style pants, then I put on a waterproof parka, because the forecasts were not optimistic. What do you think? L'articolo Tutto scorre e a Milano ancora più velocemente sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Venerdì sono stato invitato da Unieuro a trascorrere un pomeriggio un po’ diverso, girovagando per Milano in bicicletta. Un bike tour partito, sotto un bellissimo sole caldo (perché mi sono vestito di nero?!), dall’Arco della Pace e proseguito per le vie di Milano dove si stava svolgendo la Milano Design Week, fino a giungere alla destinazione, dove abbiamo ricevuto in regalo le nostre biciclette,  al Deseo. Insieme ad altri web influencer e a giornalisti abbiamo pedalato agevolmente per le vie della città, a cavallo di biciclette blue-arancioni, per partecipare ad alcuni tra gli eventi più cool del Fuori Salone.

Per l’occasione ho indossato un total look nero, per la serie “il sole bacia i belli – tanto più se sono vestiti di nero”, un paio di comode Adidas Superstar e una nota di colore nei calzini di cotone sportivi.

On Friday I was invited by Unieuro (an italian retail store) to spend an afternoon a bit different, wandering around Milan by bycicle. The bike tour started, in a lovely sunny afternoon (why did I wore a total black outfit?!), from Arco della Pace and continued through the streets of Milan, where the Milan Design Week was holding, until it arrived at destination, Via Tortona. Together with other web influencers and journalists, we easily cycled through the streets, riding “orange is the new black” bicycles, to reach some of the coolest events of the Design Week.

For the occasion I wore a total black outfit, a pair of comfortable Adidas and a touch of color on the sporty socks.
