Il bianco e il blu della classica maglietta mariniére a righe orizzontali sono un evergreen della moda unisex. La fantasia è semplice, ma quando la si indossa è d’impatto, soprattutto se abbinata a capi e dettagli ton sur ton.

Questo capo è ideale per le mezze stagioni, perché può essere indossato da solo, arrotolandone le maniche nelle giornate più soleggiate, oppure al di sotto di una giacca o un blazer. Per quanto riguarda la vestibilità, il mio consiglio è di non scegliere modelli troppo accollati e attillati perché la maglia a righe va portata assolutamente morbida sul corpo. E’ perfetta se abbinata ad un jeans o ad un chinos, come ho fatto io scegliendo questo pantalone blu navy di cotone elasticizzato, e ad una scarpa da barca oppure a un paio di mocassini, come i miei in pelle intrecciata della stessa tonalità del pantalone.

The striped sweater is ideal for mid-season, because it can be worn either alone, rolling up the sleeves on sunny days, or under a jacket or blazer. As for the fit, my advice is to choose models not too tight or high-necked, because this kind of sweater or shirt should be worn absolutely soft on the body. I find it perfect when paired with jeans or chinos, as I did in my look, by choosing a navy blue cotton stretch pants, and with some boat shoes or moccasins, like my woven leather of the same color of the trousers.
