Mentre cerco di riprendermi da questo week-end decisamente molto impegnativo, vi mostro un look dall’anima rock che ho indossato durante il mio secondo giorno di MFW, per andare alla meravigliosa sfilata di Emilio Pucci.

Ho scelto capi icona del mood rockabilly, rivisitati però in chiave più attuale e moderna. Di tendenza anche per questo autunno 2015, la camicia tartan è ormai un assoluto must-have di ogni guardaroba, femminile e maschile (chi non ne possiede almeno una?). Io ho scelto un modello diverso dai soliti che si vedono in giro: oversized, senza colletto e con enormi bottoni a clips color argento invecchiato. Al di sopra non il classico chiodo, ma una giacca over di pelle con interno in lana ton sur ton, che trovo perfetta in questa stagione per ripararsi dai primi freddi. Per bilanciare i capi dalle linee maxi indossati nella parte alta del corpo, ho infilato un paio di jeans neri dal taglio dritto e un paio di stivaletti Chelsea che aderiscono al piede come un guanto.

While I’m struggling to get over this very intense weekend, I want to show you a rock look I wore during my 2nd day of MFW, to go to the wonderful Emilio Pucci’s fashion show.

I chose the basic pieces that speak to the rockabilly aesthetic, but revisited in a modern way. A tartan shirt is now an absolute must-have for any wardrobe, both women and men (who doesn’t own at least one?). I chose a model slightly different from the usual that you see in the shops: oversized, collarless and with huge buttons in color antique silver. Bigger the better even for the jacket, not the classic moto jacket, but an oversized one in black leather with tone on tone wool interior, which I find perfect for this season to shelter from the cold weather. To balance the large pieces of clothing I was wearing in the upper part of the body, I put on a pair of black straight leg jeans and a pair of Chelsea boots that fit like a glove.

L'articolo Milan Fashion Week 2015 day 2 sembra essere il primo su DECISIONS ARE DECISIONS.

Ho deciso di approfittare di quest’ultimo mese prima dell’inizio dell’Expo per visitare luoghi di Milano che sono abbastanza certo diventeranno caotici o addirittura inaccessibili quando la marea di turisti inonderà la città (come vi accennavo in questo post qui). La scorsa domenica, insieme al mio monopattino, sono stato in zona Navigli a godermi la pace e la tranquillità che regna in quei luoghi di mattina, quando tutti i locali ed i negozi sono chiusi. Solo poche persone per strada, d’altronde non era l’ultima domenica del mese (quando solitamente viene organizzato lungo il canale il mercatino delle pulci). Ho incontrato per caso la mia amica Valentina e, non appena ci siamo guardati, siamo scoppiati a ridere, perché senza saperlo avevamo scelto di indossare per la stessa situazione un look dai pezzi molto simili tra di loro.

Ho scelto per la mia domenica sui Navigli un look rock, quasi total black. Un chiodo di pelle, must immancabile nel mio armadio che posso indossare con tutto, poi una semplice tee shirt, un paio di jeans skinny e una cintura, sempre di pelle. Tutti quanti neri, perché il nero mi piace, mi fa sentire a mio agio e mi permette di far cadere l’attenzione su dettagli che altrimenti non si noterebbero. Come scarpe e zaino. Ho scelto un paio di comode Adidas color rosa shocking e uno zaino a base nera con inserti sempre color pesca e anche turchesi. Altri due colori che ciclicamente tornano in primavera e che mi piacciono sempre.

I decided to exploit this period of time before the beginning of the Expo to visit places of Milan that I’m pretty sure will become chaotic or even out of reach when the tourists arrive in the city. Last Sunday, together with my push scooter, I went to the Navigli area to enjoy the peace and the quiet of those places in the morning, when all the bars and the shops are closed. Only few people on the street. I ran into my friend Valentina and, as soon as we looked each other, we started laughing. We were totally unaware that we had chosen to wear almost the same look for the same situation.

For my Sunday on the canals I chose a rock look, almost totally black. A leather jacket, which is a must that I wear with everything, then a simple t-shirt, a pair of jeans and a soft leather belt. All black, because I really like that color, it makes me feel comfortable and it allows me to focus the attention on the details, that otherwise you wouldn’t notice. Like the shoes and the backpack. I chose a pair of comfortable Adidas in color peach and a black backpack with peachy and turquoisy inserts.
