Un piacevole break dopo le sfilate della Milano Moda Uomo sulle nevi austriache. Grazie a Burton, che qui ha deciso di festeggiare i suoi primi 40 anni. Per l’occasione ho trascorso quarantott’ore ad Innsbruck, una bellissima cittadina nel Tirolo, alla scoperta della loro nuova collezione e delle piste. Ho fatto anche la mia prima lezione di snowboard, che è andata benissimo!

Non sto a dirvi quanto le temperature fossero basse, ma Burton mi ha gentilmente fornito tutto l’equipaggiamento necessario per muovermi con agilità ma essere allo stesso tempo al riparo dal freddo. Il mio look da montagna comprendeva giaccone, dolcevita e pantaloni termici in GORE-TEX, pensati appositamente per lo snowboarding. Come accessori casco con visiera a specchio, un paio di irrinunciabili guanti, scarponi e, ovviamente, protezioni varie!

Fare snowboarding è stata una bellissima esperienza, che spero di ripetere presto. Vi lascio alle foto, e vi dò appuntamento a presto con nuovi post.

Last week, after Milan Men’s Fashion Week, I had the chance to spend a couple of days in the Austrian Alps. Thanks to Burton, who decided to celebrate there its 40 years anniversary. For the occasion, I went to Innsbruck, a beautiful town in Tyrol, to discover their new collection and the slopes. I also made my first snowboarding lesson, that went pretty well!

I will not tell you how much the temperatures were low, but Burton has kindly provided me with all the equipment I needed to move with agility, but at the same time be protected from the cold. My mountain outfit included thermal jacket, turtleneck and pants made by GORE-TEX and designed specifically for snowboarding. As accessories helmet with mirrored visor, a couple of essential gloves, boots and, of course, protections!

Snowboarding was a great experience, which I hope to repeat soon. I leave you to the photos: see you all soon with a new post.
