New entry nella mia collezione di orologi: un modello di Henry London dallo stile vintage contemporaneo. Il marchio, che come potrete intuire è britannico, ha una storia particolare: prende il suo nome da un esemplare che i due designer hanno scovato al mercato di Portobello Road, con inciso sul retro della cassa “Henry, August 1965”. Ispirati da questo orologio e dal suo design elegante hanno così ideato la collezione Henry London. I cinturini sono in morbida pelle, come quello che ho scelto io, o in acciaio maglia Milano di alta qualità, con una vasta selezione di colori per entrambi i materiali. Quello che è il loro tratto maggiormente distintivo, ovvero l’elemento che più mi ha colpito a prima vista, è la cassa: tradizionale, in acciaio inossidabile lavorato a mano, in una ampia scelta di nuance ispirate ai colori delle diverse linee della Tube. Inoltre altro dettaglio che ho apprezzato è il servizio di personalizzazione, offerto sia nella vendita online che presso il proprio rivenditore di fiducia: il retro della cassa può infatti ospitare incisioni di iniziali o parole.

Tutti gli orologi Henry London sono inoltre resistenti agli schizzi e unisex, con misure che partono dai 25mm per arrivare ai chrono 41mm.

Anche l’outfit che mi vedete indossare nelle foto è volutamente british, stile che da sempre mi piace e che trovo mio. L’impermeabile è nella mia tonalità di blu preferita: è super leggero ma protegge benissimo dalla pioggia. Il maglione girocollo è anch’esso blu, così come il jeans regular che porto al di sotto. Si tratta di un total look che ho acquistato su Salle Privée, e-commerce olandese che vanta una bellissima selezione di prodotti di lusso. Infine, come scarpe ho su le mie sneakers preferite del momento: un paio di Vans in suede.

New entry in my watches collection: a contemporary vintage style model by Henry London. The brand, which as you might guess is British, has a particular history behind it: it takes its name from a watch that the two designers have discovered wandering around Portobello Road Market, which was engraved on the case back saying “Henry, August 1965″. Inspired by this watch and its elegant design they have thus created the Henry London collection. The straps are made of soft leather, like the one I chose, or high quality stainless steel Milanese mesh, with a wide selection of colors for both materials. What is their most distinctive trait, or the element that struck me at first sight, it is the case: traditional, hand-crafted stainless steel, in a choice of shades inspired by the colors of the different lines of the Tube. Also another detail that I appreciate is the customization service, offered in both the online sale both at the dealers: the case back in fact accommodate incision of initials or words.

All Henry London watches are also sketches resistent and unisex, with sizes starting from 25mm to the 41mm chrono.

Even the outfit you see me wearing in the pictures is deliberately british: a style that I like and that I wear a lot. The raincoat is in my favorite shade of blue: it’s super light but protects well from the rain. The round neck sweater is also blue, as well as the regular jeans I paired below. It is a total look that I purchased on Salle Privée, Dutch e-commerce which has a beautiful selection of luxury products. Finally, for the shoes I put on my favorite sneakers of the moment: a pair of Vans in suede.
