Ho appena salutato Napoli, la mia famiglia e i miei amici e sono sul treno che mi riporta dritto verso quel luogo che ora chiamo casa, Milano. Ripenso a quanto è stato frenetico quest’ultimo anno… Un anno in cui il lavoro ha assorbito praticamente tutte le mie energie e il mio tempo: nel 2015 il mio blog è diventato, a tutti gli effetti,  un lavoro a tempo pieno, e i miei colleghi sono diventati parte della mia vita. Persone che pian piano sono entrate nelle mie giornate, a riempirle, rallegrarle e ispirarle: Laura, Elisa, Chiara, Onur, Duygu, Valentina e Luca. Ho anche avuto l’occasione di conoscere tante persone nuove, che condividono il mio stesso lavoro e con le quali ho avuto la fortuna di condividere un tratto di strada di questo 2015: Christian, Tuna, Kubila e Matthew. Ho anche acquisito due project manager pazzeschi e una collaboratrice che mi aiutano giorno dopo giorno a realizzare i miei sogni.

Il 2015 è stato l’anno in cui ho preso più di 60 aerei, visitato 3 continenti e più di 20 paesi diversi e sono salito per la prima volta in vita mia su una nave da crociera. Ho trascorso buona parte della mia estate nella bellissima Turchia, sono finalmente tornato in Cina, ho ritrovato gli amici di Varsavia e Berlino, ho visitato per la prima volta Amsterdam, ho visto le sfilate alla Settimana della Moda di New York e mi sono follemente innamorato di Aruba. Ma è stato anche l’anno in cui mi sono impegnato per tornare il più spesso possibile a Napoli, per stare con i miei genitori.

Il 2015 è stato anche l’anno in cui ho fatto il septum piercing, ho cambiato casa a Milano, ho trascorso le vacanze estive nel Sud Italia, come non accadeva da tempo. Ho perso un caro amico… ma ho rafforzato le amicizie con tanti altri. L’anno in cui ho iniziato a scrivere spesso articoli su Elle.it e ho partecipato a tantissime sfilate, al Pitti, a Milano e a New York, tanto che le mie foto di streetstyle hanno fatto il giro del mondo. Ho anche posato per la mia primissima copertina su All Mag Turkey.

Ho collaborato con moltissimi brand con i quali mai avrei sognato di lavorare: Christian Louboutin, Furla, Footlocker, Dior, Alberto Guardiani, Siviglia, MCM, Rayban, Hogan e molti altri.

Il 2015 mi ha portato dove avevo sempre desiderato essere… Non potevo sperare di più.

Ora che la notte più lunga dell’anno è alle porte: vi auguro tutto il meglio, tanta gioia, amore, serenità e salute.

I’ve just said good-bye to Naples, to my family and to all of my friends and now I’m on the train that brings me straight to that place that I now call home, Milan. I’m thinking back to what has been hectic this year… A year during which work has absorbed almost all my energy and my time: in 2015 my blog has become a full-time job, and my colleagues have become part of my life. People that slowly came in my days, to fill them, and inspire them: Laura, Elisa, Chiara, Onur, Duygu, Valentina and Luca. I also had the opportunity to meet many new people with whom I was lucky enough to share a stretch of road in this 2015:Christian, Tuna, Kubila and Matthew. I also have started working with two crazy project managers and a collaborator who helps me day after day to achieve my dreams.

2015 was the year during which I took more than 60 aircraft, visited 3 continents and more than 20 different countries and have risen for the first time in my life on a cruise ship. I spent most of my summer in beautiful Turkey, have finally returned to China, found lost friends in Warsaw and Berlin, visited for the first time Amsterdam, saw the fashion shows at New York Fashion Week and fallen in love with Aruba. But it was also the year in which I am committed to return as often as possible in Naples, to be with my parents.

2015 was also the year when I made the septum piercing, I moved house in Milan, I spent the summer holidays in South Italy, which had not happened for some time. I lost a dear friend… but I strengthened friendships with many others. The year that I started writing articles on Elle.it and I have participated to many fashion shows, at Pitti, in Milan and New York, so that my streetstyle photos has been around the world. I even posed for my very first cover image for All Turkey last May.

I srtarted working with many brands I would never have dreamed of working with: Christian Louboutin, Furla, Footlocker, Dior, Alberto Guardiani, Seville, MCM, Rayban, Hogan and many more.

2015 brought me where I had always wanted to be… I couldn’t hope for more.

State pensando di trascorrere il Capodanno al mare in un posto un po’ diverso dal solito? Partite per Aruba (Caraibi)! La One Happy Island del Mar dei Caraibi, quella con più giorni di sole all’anno e una temperatura costante sui 28°C. Inoltre, grazie alla sua posizione, si trova al di fuori della fascia normalmente battuta dagli uragani. Il Capodanno è un avvenimento molto sentito: i fuochi d’artificio illuminano il cielo di tutta l’isola e tolgono il fiato ad ogni fortunato turista che ha deciso di trascorrere lì il suo Capodanno al mare. L’isola di Aruba offre tantissimo: non ci si può annoiare tra la possibilità di fare snorkeling tra i relitti, la scuola di windsurf, le escursioni in catamarano, lo shopping a Oranjestad (di cui vi ho già parlato QUI)… Non sapevo cosa scegliere per prima cosa! Alla fine mi sono concesso un po’ di sano relax in spiaggia sulla mia amaca. Le spiagge di Aruba sono tutte stupende, di fine sabbia bianca (che sembra farina) bagnata da un’acqua cristallina. Ma a Flamingo Beach (sulla Renaissance Private Island) sembra di stare in paradiso! La si raggiunge in 10 minuti di barca, e all’arrivo si possono ammirare fenicotteri rosa e iguane che si aggirano tutti indisturbati tra i turisti!

Sono molto i motivi a rendere Aruba la meta perfetta per un Capodanno al mare al caldo! Io ci sono stato di recente, ad inizio mese, e ci ho lasciato il cuore!

Thinking about going away this year for New Year’s Eve? You should consider Aruba (Caribbean)! The One Happy Island of the Caribbean Sea, the one with the most days of sunshine a year and a constant temperature over 28 °C. Furthermore, due to its location, it is outside the range normally beaten by hurricanes. The island of Aruba offers a lot, you can not get bored: diving among wrecks, windsurfing school, catamaran excursions, shopping in Oranjestad (I have already talked about it HERE)… I couldn’t decide what to go first! In the end I spent my time split between lying on the beach and reading in the hammock. Aruba’s beaches are all wonderful, fine white sand (that seems like flour) lapped by crystal clear water. But in Flamingo Beach (on the Renaissance Private Island) is like being in paradise! It can be reached in 10 minutes by boat, and on arrival you can admire pink flamingos and iguanas that wander freely among all the tourists!

Many are the reasons why Aruba is the perfect destination for spending New Year’s Eve by the sea! I’ve been there recently, earlier this month, and I left there my heart!
