Agosto, tempo di partenze, di sogni da realizzare, di possibilità da scoprire. Tempo di una meritata vacanza.

Oggi vi mostro cosa ho indossato per l’ultimo giorno del mio weekend a Istanbul, trascorso girovagando per il quartiere di Nisantasi. Uno tra i più benestanti della città, affollato da ristorantini, caffè e boutique di lusso. Meta necessaria per un amante, come me, dello scrittore premio Nobel Orhan Pamuk: proprio in questo quartiere si trova la casa in cui è nato e di cui narra nel suo capolavoro “Istanbul”. Indosso una camicia a quadri di Tommy Hilfiger, abbinata a un paio di jeans mid rise e le mie nuove sneakers Hogan. Sulle spalle uno zainetto in pelle lavorato a mano a Marrakech, regalo di un caro amico che recentemente è stato in Marocco e mi ha pensato.

Non mi resta che augurare a tutti voi di trascorrere delle bellissime e rilassantissime ferie! Ci rivediamo a settembre

To me August means getting excited for summer holidays and adventuring. Now that it finally came I couldn’t be happier.

Today I want to show you what I wore during the last day of my weekend in Istanbul, day 3, spent wandering around the district of Nisantasi. It’s one of the richest district of the city, with lots of classy restaurants, cafes and high-end boutiques. A necessary pit stop for someone, like me, who loved the book “Istanbul” written by the Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk: exactly in this district there is the house where he was born and which he narrates in his masterpiece about. I was wearing a plaid shirt by Tommy Hilfiger, over with a pair of mid rise jeans and my new sneakers from Hogan. On the shoulders a leather backpack handmade in Marrakech, a gift from a close friend who has recently been in Morocco.
